Platform tour

Every feature, in depth.

A guided walk through the systems that make Storage Link Media a full studio backbone - not just another cloud drive.

Secure client storage built for huge media files

An encrypted, dual-backend object store engineered around the real shape of a video, photo and drone workflow.

For you

You stop juggling external drives, public cloud folders and ad-hoc WeTransfer links. Every project gets a tidy, predictable folder tree the moment it is created.

For your client

Your clients trust that nothing is sitting on a personal laptop, an unsecured drive in a coffee shop, or a free consumer cloud account. Their footage lives on infrastructure built to outlast a hard drive failure.

Files are uploaded directly to an encrypted object-storage bucket using chunked, resumable transfers. Massive video masters, RAW photo sets and drone capture folders push through in parallel without melting your browser tab or your connection - uploads survive network blips, browser refreshes and reconnects.

Every filename you send is normalised on the way in. We strip control characters, collapse path traversal attempts, sanitize emoji and unsafe Unicode, and rebuild a stable relative path before the asset is ever written. A separate quarantine step inspects content type, declared size and structural integrity before the file is moved into the live tree - corrupt or suspicious uploads never reach a client-visible folder.

Each plan has a hard server-side capacity cap enforced at the database layer, not just in the UI. When you approach your ceiling we surface clear warnings; when you cross it, uploads are politely blocked rather than silently failing or generating surprise bills. Storage add-on packs can be applied instantly without any migration or downtime.

Deletes are atomic across the database and the storage bucket: a removed asset is removed everywhere, including hidden version markers, so storage is fully reclaimed and never silently lingers. Checksums on every upload let you verify, weeks later, that what you sent is byte-for-byte what is sitting in your client's folder.

What's under the hood

  • Chunked, resumable uploads for multi-gigabyte masters
  • Filename sanitization and path-traversal protection
  • Quarantine + checksum verification on every asset
  • Hard plan-level capacity caps enforced server-side
  • Atomic, version-aware deletion across DB + bucket
